sometimes it is hard to know what you will get without having it in front of you. i was glad that i did not let this keep me from placing our order. the pens write smooth and clear...no ink pools or smearing. they are easy on your fingers when writing and they look Great!...that is important for a company pen that you also use for advertising purposes.
