The first thing I noticed is that the "gift box" it came in was packed pretty poorly. There is very little padding, and the thin black cloth covering the Styrofoam sheds a lot of fibers (that then cover the glass) and doesn't really hide the packaging that well. It looks like during shipping, the top of the award busted through the box. The tip of the star point is flatter than the rest, so I can't tell if it's a chip or if it was made that way. In addition to the packaging, there are a few imperfections in the glass including some black marks in the glass and a bubble right in the middle of the award visible where our design was engraved.
